CNC Shearing, Punching & Forming

Wisconsin Metal Fab uses CNC equipment for a variety of applications, ensuring repeatability and accuracy of the production runs of your parts. Shearing, punching, and forming can be optimized to create simple or complex shapes and features on metal parts and components for any industry.

We offer a range of equipment and systems to provide the quality, precision parts and components you need. All of our systems, including metal shearing, punching, and forming equipment, are operated by our experienced professionals. This ensures each part we produce meets the tolerances and standards required by each of our customers. This is true for prototyping, small orders, large-volume orders, and ongoing order requirements.

Metal Shearing

Metal shearing is a fast, effective, and precise way to cut straight-line metal shapes. Using a power shear for these types of parts is more cost effective than laser or plasma cutting, and it is the ideal option for a single part or large production orders.

3/8″ – 12′ Shear with Stacker

Metal Punching

Metal punching uses the same process as shearing, with a punch and die combination instead of the flat, straight cutting surface. This process can be used to create holes in sheet metal or in metal parts and components, and the holes can be many shapes from traditional round or square to customized shapes and sizes.

Metal Forming

Wisconsin Metal Fab uses several different types of press brakes to create formed and shaped pieces to meet the needs of our customers. CNC operated, these systems create accurately formed parts quickly, and with the tight tolerances, our customers have come to expect.

We also perform CNC tube and pipe bending, as well as rolling services for both plate and angles.
